System Restore

So I backed up my laptop...all of my photography and stuff. had to put it on cd's took about 3 hours to get everything working.

And...1 of the disks....is blank..I lost all of my work from the end of 08 and January...

I'm so livid at myself right now I really just...don't know what else to say...
